DRV421: Issue with shielding in the feedback coil

Hello,

We are developing a current sensor based on the DRV421. Right now, we are having issues with the magnetic shield. We noted that after adding the shielding the sensor started to act erratically. Then, we realized that this happens due to the added coil turn in short circuit.

Is there a way around this behavior, is this normal?

    Hello Roberto,

    I would not expect the shielding to cause any issues unless it is close the the field that it is intended to measure on the DRV421 sensing location.  

    I don't understand what you mean by "added coil turn in short circuit".
