TMCS1107: Unidirectional and bidirectional options

Hi Team,

Our customer is considering TMCS1107 Current Sensor on their design and would like to understand which configuration to use, (Unidirectional or bidirectional), in measuring 120VAC at about 10 to 15A. 

Could you also suggest technical documents explaining this?

    Given that this is an AC application, you will certainly want to use a bidirectional device, since current will flow in one direction during the positive half cycle, and then reverse direction during the negative half cycle. Table 5-1 in the datasheet should help with device selection here:

    Based on the current you report above, I would recommend either the A1 or the A2 based on the supply voltage you intend to implement here.
