LM75B: LEADFRAME / ASSEMBLY SITE

Part Number: LM75B

Hi,

I'm testing parts under PN LM75BIMX-3/NOPB and noticed that there is 2 different lead frames,

The labels reference assembly site "(22L) AKR" (PHL)  and the other lead frame is from assembly site "(22L) CU6 (MYS)

Both top markings are different as well as the pin 1 indicator,

Are both lead frames consistent to PN LM75BIMX-3/NOPB as well as the country assembly locations?

Sample 1 (CU6)

sample 2 (AKR)

Any help is appreciated.

  • Dear Mercedes -

Thanks for the post - I can confirm the two different assembly sites use different but similar lead frames and which are electrically identical. The top markings in your images are not different (to me it looks like the same image posted twice), and this would be consistent with topside symbolization instructions in the assembly site specific specifications.

The first two characters after the National symbol represent the year and month and the last two correspond to an assembly lot code, so they should be different, based on the dates on the box stickers.

  • Hi!

Thank you for the response and clarification regarding the lead frame,

I was thinking it was due to the different assembly sites but wanted to confirm.

You are right, I accidently posted the same picture twice, the picture below belongs to sample 1 (CU6)

Is the topside marking/pin 1 indention difference due to the different assembly site as well?

    Thank you for the help!!

  • Mercedes -

    Yes, that is correct.
