Hello,

I would like to receive information on how the heater should be operated over time in order to keep humidity offset and temperature offset acceptable (best compromise) when this IC is working every day with high relative humidity (50%-90%). None information is given inside the part datasheet Typical recommendation can be to operature the heater X minutes per hours to demoisturize the sensor. The number X could be also be modulated depending of the operating temperature zone. Thank you for your suggestion

    Hi Bruno,

    The recommended humidity operating range is 10% to 70% RH. Prolonged operation outside this range may result in a measurement offset. The measurement offset will decrease after operating the sensor in this recommended operating range. We do not have a recommended operating time for the heater, but it can be turned on until the condensation on the device evaporates. I would suggest not leaving it on for more than 5 minutes.
