Hello,

I have a question regarding the output data of AMC80.

Since CH0 to CH6 of AMC80 has a resolution of 10 bits, I understand that it is output with 1024 data, but in our usage, it seemed to be output with 4096 data (12 bits).

Is there a setting to change the bit of output data?

If you can change the output data settings, please tell me how.

By the way, the temperature measurement function is not used.

The output format is 12 bits, but 10 bit performance is guaranteed. You can discard the extra bits if you don't wish to use them.

How do you calculate the fact that it is output in 12 bits when converting to voltage?

When the full scale setting is set to the default value, 1 unit = 2.5 mV because it is 10 bits of 2.56 V.

When it comes to 12bit, do you think about 1unit = 0.625mV, which is 1/4 times that?

Or will the calculation direction be different from the above?

Yes, 2.5mV LSB becomes 0.625mV LSB when there are 2 extra bits of precision.
