The device we use are DCA1000EVM,IWR6843ISK-ODS and MMWAVEICBOOST, the line connection of the device is shown in the picture.
The DCA1000 SW2 is set up as shown.
And we turned off the firewall, the IP settings are as shown in the picture below.
But we still get errors:

So we want to reprogram the FPGA. After the configuration is completed according to the manual, the device information cannot be obtained through jtag after using the diamond programmer to connect the device. After manually selecting the device, the following error is displayed:
Lattice VM Drivers detected (HW-DLN-3C (Parallel), HW-USBN-2B (FTDI))
INFO - Scanning USB2 Port FTUSB-0...
Programmer device database loaded
ERROR - Failed to scan board.
ERROR - Scan Failed - Creating Blank Programmer Project.
INFO - Check configuration setup: Start.

(Expected: 0x01113043 Read: 0xFFFFFFFF).
ERROR - Check configuration setup: Unsuccessful.
ERROR - Programming failed.
Please let me know.
Best regards.
Hi,
It appears you are not connected to the DCA1000. See this guide for how to connect.
Best,
Nate
I followed the documentation and tried many times, but still can't connect to the FPGA.
Hi,
You should only need to power the DCA1000, not the ICBoost too. I wonder if that is causing some problems. Please remove the power connector to the ICBoost, and additionally, please set SW2 to the configuration shown below. If it works, you should see the following screen when you click the "Set Up DCA1000" button
If that doesn't solve the problem, please send me screenshots of the buttons you pressed and the order you pressed them in so we can find the difference between your procedure and mine.
Best,
Nate
I followed your steps to experiment but still no success, my previous steps are completely consistent with the documentation, the steps are:
Please mimic my setup exactly with the single barrel power connector and with SOP1 OFF and SOP2 ON. When you first power up the DCA1000, you should see the LED's on the top illuminate, is that the case?
Additionally, what version of the MMWave Studio are you running? I am running 2.1.0.0
Best,
Nate
I configured it as per your photo, but it doesn't detect the device this way. The version of MMWave Studio I am using is also 2.1.0.0.
Hi,
It appears you put the jumpers on the incorrect SOP pins, if you refer to the following image again and look at the bottom left, you will see that we have SOP0 and SOP1 On, while you have SOP0 and SOP2 On.
Best Regards,
Alec
Hi,
My apologies for the confusion here. I'm going to attach a slightly more recent slide deck with step by step instructions to get up and running with the DCA1000EVM, could you try going through them and seeing if the configuration in the slides resolves your issue?
