PGA450-Q1: ultrasound modulated signal

Part Number: PGA450-Q1

Hi,

Is it possible to send a modulated (I and Q) or coded signals using PGA450. I'm using ultrasound transducer (50kHz for example) as a carrier. Receiver will receive it and decode it accordingly. Thanks,

  • Hello Inya,

Thanks for posting to the sensing forum! Not sure what you mean by a modulated I and Q, but if you are referring to sending out a specific pattern during your burst pulse this is not possible using PGA450. The device that is capable of handling configurable burst patterns is TUSS44x0. Pins IO1 and IO2 connect directly to the burst generation block of the device allowing you to provide a configurable output.

Let me know if this answers your question, thanks!

    Best,

    Isaac

  • thanks for suggestion. Yes, I/O input is what I'm looking for to modulate carrier.
