IWR6843AOPEVM: mmWave board does not connect when using the Demo Visualizer

We are having connection problems with the mmWave Demo Visualizer that we have never encountered in months of using it.  The board now rarely connects when flashed with xwr6843aop_mmwdemo.  However, if it is flashed with 3D People Counter Demo it connects to the People Counter GUI every time.  This seems to indicate it is not a hardware issue, and we were wondering if there may be issues with the mmWDemo webtool at this time, since we have been working for months without this issue?

    Hi Dan,

    This is a known issue. We are working on it now. Have you tried different combinations of SDK 3.6 and 3.5 with visualizers 3.5 and 3.6? We've seen some success trying that.

    Hi Dan,

    Our team has continued looking into this issue and we are working towards a fix. This seems to be a chrome compatibility issue with our online gui composer tools.

    If the demo visualizer is absolutely needed for development you can follow the following steps:

    1. go to dev.ti.com/gallery

    2. search mmwave demo visualizer

    3. download the version of the tool you are interested in, see screenshot below

    This tool will work offline. 

    If any visualizer will work, the tools folder in our industrial toolbox 4_12 has a visualizer which support out of box demo. Learn more here.
