LM77: LM77CIMX-3/NOPB vs LM77CIM-5/NOPB

Dear team,

I would like to know the difference between LM77CIMX-3/NOPB vs LM77CIM-5/NOPB.

Based on below E2E link, -3 is for 3.3V and -5 is for 5V input.

But in datasheet operation rating>note #4, both part numbers of the LM77 will operate properly over the +VS supply voltage range of 3V to 5.5V

    As noted in the post you linked, the -3 and -5 indicate temperature specs that apply to a supply voltage range of 3.0V to 3.6V and 4.5V to 5.5V, respectively. This is clarified in the notes above and below the Temperature-to-Digital Converter Characteristics table in the datasheet (see snippet shown below).

    As far as CIM vs. CIMX, the only difference is packaging size. CIM represents a quantity of 95 and comes in a tube, whereas CIMX represents a quantity of 2,500 and comes in a tape and reel. This is represented in the ordering & quality table on the product page (see snippet below).

    This table summarizes the difference between the two parts you mentioned.
