DCA1000EVM: XDS110 COM port recognition

Part Number: DCA1000EVM

Hi Team,

According to DCA1000EVM_QuickStartGuide, I connected micro USB  to PC from DCA1000EVM.

"XDS110 Class Application/User UART(COM11)" should appear in the device manager but it didn't. 

I tried to install EMUPACK but the situation did not change.

If you have any other way of dealing, please teach me.

    Hello Tom,

    According to the user guide, the XDS110 Class Application/User UART(COM11) is the xWR EVM port and not for the DCA1000 EVM.
    The ports he is observing in this picture for the DCA is correct.

    Thank you for answering my question.

    I understand that the DCA is correct.
    I'm sorry ,but let me ask for more question.

    According to the DCA1000EVM_QuickStartGuide.pdf ,
    I think that I need to connect the RS232 COM Port.
    I tried that (Reset Control and RS232 Operations) ,but I can't do that.

    Please tell me how to do that.

    Hello Tom,

    Could you follow the steps mentioned below once:
    1) Connect the XDS of the radar chip to the PC for the XDS port
    2) Then interface it with the DCA and choose the correct port and connect it to the system.
    3) Then try connecting to the to the RS232 port via software.

    From what I see the RS232 ports are already appearing on the device manager as the AR-Dev, on of those ports will let you successfully connect.
