OPT4001: Communication distance of I2C

Hi team,

OPT4001 has I2C interface and I would like to the max communication distance it can support. How about 1.5 meters? If OPT4001 can suppport, customer don't need an extra MCU on sensor board.

Hi Nison,

The max i2c bus distance depends on the capacitance of the wire/trace and the clock speed you run it at. In standard or fast mode, 1.5m should be fine as long as the bus capacitance is < 400 pF.
