LMT70: Schematic review

Part Number: LMT70
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM35

Hellow Expert,

We were already using lm35, we plan to change from lm35 to lmt70.

So we have some questions about schematic drawing.

It would be appreciated if you could confirm that there is no problem with connecting to LMT70 in the same way as connecting to LM35.

1. Connect OUTPUT of LM35 to TAO of LMT70.
2. Connect +Vs of LM35 to VDD of LMT70.
3. Connecto T_ON to VDD

Could you please check and feedback?

Best Regards,

Michael

  • Hi Michael,

Yes, these connections are appropriate for LMT70.  Of course, be sure that ground is also connected.

Another thing to note is the capacitive load, but the LMT70 has the ability to drive up to 1nF loads, where the LM35 only supports up to 50pF load, so you should be fine without any precautions using the same circuit you have for LM35.
