TIDEP-01012: Example scripts for capturing and processing TIDEP-01012 data

Hi,

We have recently used the IWR6843 through the TI demo application and successfully captured and processed it's output using python scripts, it worked great! However for our application we require better resolution for both the azimuth and elevation. The TIDEP-01012 looks great for this role (open to other suggestions) but we are concerned about how difficult it would be to configure, capture data, and post process the data into a X,Y,Z,intensitiy,etc... tabular format which will be used as input for our internal python scripts. 

Do simple capture and processing scripts exist for capturing data from the TIDEP-01012 , if so can someone point me to them?

To configure the TIDEP-01012 for capture do we use wave studio?

    The cascade capture kit described in  TIDEP-01012 is much more complex than IWR6843

    There are configuration files  and scripts provided. These scripts enable the user to capture and post process the raw data.

    C:\ti\mmwave_studio_03_00_00_14\mmWaveStudio\MatlabExamples

    Please take a look at them to understand if they satisfy your requirements.

    If they don't, you need to keep in mind that they are difficult to modify.
