Hi, 

We are looking for ECG Analog front end which can be used as Single channel(As a ECG Patch) as well as Multi-Channel(As a Holter monitor).

Please suggest the best suitable AFE for our application.

Among these AFE4960 can be used for patch as well as holter monitor.

But what about other AFE's Can we use it for patch (LL and RA without RL - only two electrodes connected)?

    How many electrodes are you planning to place on subject in addition to the RLD?

    2 electrodes + 1 RLD => 1291 or AFE4960

    no more than 4 electrodes + 1 RLD => 1292 or AFE4960

    no more than 6 electrodes + 1 RLD => 1293

    no more than 8 electrodes + 1 RLD => 1294

    no more than 12 electrodes + 1 RLD => 1296

    no more than 16 electrodes + 1 RLD => 1298

    Only 2 electrodes + 1 RLD => ADS1291 or AFE4960

    Hi Chienchun,

    Can we use ADS1294R for 1-lead, 3-lead, 5-lead and 6-lead configurations?

    1-lead -> LL - RA +(RL electrode)

    3-lead ->LL,RA,LA +(RL electrode)

    5-lead ->LL,RA,LA,V1+(RL electrode)

    6-lead -> LL,RA,LA,V1,V5+(RL electrode).

    Please give your comments.

    Hi,

    Will you use respiration function?  The reason to ask is that once the respiration function is used/enabled, Channel 1 is to be used for respiration, and cannot be used for ECG signal acquisition.

    The following is answer based on the assumption if you don't use respiration function -

    ADS1294R can do -

    LL - RA +(RL electrode)

    LL,RA,LA +(RL electrode)

    LL, RA, LA, V(1 or x) + (RL electrode)  if it's acceptable to do software calculation.

    LL, RA, LA, V1, V5 + (RL electrode)  if it's acceptable to do software calculation.
