TMP235: What performance the sensor gain of a temperature sensor represents?

My customer HEMAI is using out TMP235 and syslink's CT7035 for P2P. And they are cusrious about the sensor gain parameter in the datasheet .

So what performance the sensor gain of a temperature sensor represents?

    Hello,

    TMP235 has a linear analog output with a slope of +10mV/°C, this is what the datasheet refers to as gain. The TMP236 is variant of TMP235 with a larger slope, +19.5mV/°C. This is the only gain relevant to the TMP235/6.
