Hi ti Team,
I have a few questions when using OPT3101:
1. There are two grounding examples in the zhcu659a document of TI official website, the difference is that the TX part VSSL is grounded separately, which performance is better? Could you please provide the layout information of these two types?
2.A0 to A2 are I2C configuration pins. It is generally understood that the GND of A0 to A2 is digital GND. Why is the GND of A0 to A2 in the specification connected to analog GND?
Switch,
I am not sure that I understand your question. "provide the layout information of these two types" The idea is to separate the current paths for analog, digital and TX LED current. The grounds will connect to each other at a common star point to make sure they are at the same potential. You want each current path to remain in the ground for the respective circuit. example: the TX LED current should remain in the ground for this circuit. This current should not flow in the other ground paths.
Please explain your request again so I can answer your question.
