BOOSTXL-TUSS4440: Using separate TX and RX devices with the TUSS4440 kit.

The GUI does not allow switching off the TX and listen to the RX only. The "Start" always transmits and then listens. We want to listen to a signal that may have been introduced separately using another TUSS4440. Can we do that using the SDK?

To do this, you can use the Tx to trigger a transmission and monitor VOUT on the receiver.

Will not work. Transmitter on board 2 will fire and receiver on board 2 will see its reflected output merged with the transmitted signal from transmitter on board 1.

Can not be done with current GUI. Source for Windows GUI is not available therefore behavior can be modified

Could be done with new GUI and changes to the firmware on the LanchPad MCU.

TI SDK for the BOOST-TUSS4440 KIT contains source code for LanchPad firmware but not for the Windows GUI

Hi Sudhir,

In order to accomplish what you want, unfortunately, you will not be able to use the GUI as it is not set up to work in that manner. You will need to create custom firmware in order to do so, which you can base off of the TUSS44x0 Energia Library and Code Examples.
