Shine,
Please have the customer confirm that the SOP jumpers are set to debug mode as defined in the quick start guide and the schematics. See "MMWAVEBOOST mode"
Have the customer completely power cycle the EVM and the DCA1000. If connection still fails, please ask the customer to confirm they have the most recent FTDI drivers installed on their PC.
Is it connected according to MMWAVEBOOST mode, and the driver is the latest, or will the above error occur?
DCA1000 and IWR6843AOPEVM are updated as shown in this picture, but there are still problems. Windows 10 and 11 systems have been tried.
Can you confirm the position of SW3?
Have you been able to update your computer's FTDI drivers?
SW3 is on the right, and the driver is the latest version, so it cannot be updated.
OK thanks for confirming that. It looks like you are also using an old FW versions. Try using the FW included in SDK 03.06.00.00-LTS.
That's great question. An SDK is a Software Development Kit, it includes software and tools to help people use mmWave processors. SDK 03.06.00.00_LTS is the most recent and up to date version of our SDK for IWR6843AoP and includes the most recent FW patches. You can find it on TI.com
