The i2c timing requirements for OPT4001-Q1 are the same as OPT3004. OPT3004's DS has the i2c timing requirements: https://www.ti.com/product/OPT3004

Hi Brent,

1) Please confirm there are no minimum limits on clock and data rise/fall time requirements (Trc/Tfc and Trd/Tfd); i.e. single digit ns clock rise/fall times are acceptable.

2) Please clarify whether Data rise/fall times (Trd and Tfd) are input requirements or output specification. And please provide both, input requirements and output specification for Data rise/fall times.

Hi Andy,

Single digit ns rise/fall times are acceptable.

Data rise/fall times are requirements of the i2c protocol so these requirements listed are required of the input (controller) and output (target).
