LM96000: could the device support the highest speed requirement when there are multi master devices?

Hi,

Below is my customer design concept.

I'm going to propose LM96000x2 or LM96194*2 due to the device only support up to 3xPWM and 2xPWM.

As you see there are 4 host could send command to fan control to control fan speed.

My question is could our fan control only work as the highest speed from these 4 masters?

I mean when the 4 masters send different speed to fan control, could fan control only operate the highest one?

No, the fan controller is not able to distinguish which host wrote to it, nor does it have a mechanism to retain/compare previous settings written to it. The hosts should query the current setting, and only update if their desired setting is higher.

Customer is thinking to add LM111 between fan control and fan.

May I have your support to check whether LM111 could support to provide the highest speed PWM to fan?

No, I don't think LM111 makes sense here.
