TMP442: Series Resistance Cancellation

Hi,

TMP442 datasheet states that the series resistance Rs should be under 1K, or 300 ohm if beta-compensation is used.

Does this refer to the total series resistance of both base and emitter, as in TMP432 for example, or can each of these resistors be 1K (300 ohm with beta-compensation) for a total of 2K (600 ohm)?

Hello Rafi,

Rs for TMP442 refers to the total series resistance in the path of DXP and DXN. Are you wanting a device that can handle a different resistance?

I am looking for a device which can cancel up to 600 ohm with beta-compensation enabled.

Hello Rafi,

TI does not have a remote that can handle up to 600 ohms with beta-compensation enabled. We will consider this for future designs.
