DRV425: Magnetic Field Orientation

Hello,

I have a question about the directional dependency shown in Figure 62.
According to the figure, there appears to be a phase shift in the signal. The 2.5V line is only crossed again at approx. 190°. Is this a systematic behavior of the sensors or rather a measurement artifact?

Hello Andreas,

So there are a couple of issues that could have this data looking this way. I am speculating as I did not collect the data. This is just from my experience with this device and applications with it.

Error in the angle measured.
Offset of the device. This is only a slight explanation as the zero degree measurement should equal the 180°
Angle of the die in the package. This would also account for a small error just like offset.
