According to the datasheet, the FOV is at least 35°, but there is a customer question that I need to confirm with you. The customer requires an FOV angle of about 45°.
However, because the hole is too large, the frame will be enlarged and it will not be beautiful visually.
Please help confirm. What will happen if the FOV is opened to about 30?

Figure 5-3 in the datasheet shows the angular response of the OPT4001-Q1, which indicates how much of a signal can be expected as a function of FOV. Having a smaller FOV will affect device performance and accuracy.
Section 3 of the Ambient Light Sensor Application Guide goes into more detail regarding FOV and performance.
