Hi , 

I want to read data directly from a terminal such as putty but it is not showing me anything .

The User UART port is working and when I use the mmwave visualiser I can see tha detected objects.

What should I do?

    Hello, 

    Can you let me know which demo software you are running? Is it the Out-of-Box demo, People Tracking demo, etc...? In order to see the output data in the putty terminal you need to make sure the baud rate is configured to match that which is used by the demo. Most of our example demos for the IWR6843 output data with a baud rate of 921600. Please check this setting in putty.

    I am running the Out of Box demo and I tried already to run the output data with a baud rate of 921600 but it still doesn't work .

    Hi, 

    Thank you. Have you already sent the cfg file on the CLI (User UART) port? With putty I don't think you can directly send a file but you would have to copy and paste the contents of the file. 

    If this has not been done then there will be no activity on the data port.
