AWR1843: Detecting higher velocities using AWR1843 board

Hi Team,

We have been working on detecting speed of a vehicle at higher velocities with Automotive mmwave radar sensors.

We must detect vehicle speeds up to 400 kmph (we point the radar towards the ground to measure our own vehicle's speed).

Suggest us

1. Is there a demo which supports a velocity greater than 200kmph?

2. In OOB demo, the cfarFovCfg configuration is changed to extend the filter. But the number of detected points got reduced. How do the two relate to one other?

cfarFovCfg is a command for datapath to filter out detected points outside the specified limits in the range direction or doppler direction. It determines the maximum and minimum limits for range or doppler based on the processing direction. For more details, refer to "<SDK_DIR>\docs\mmwave_sdk_user_guide.pdf"
