Hi Ayush,
Refer to the following documents for details about the virtual antenna array -

I went through the documents. Still it's not clear how to arrange data for the 86 virtual elements(not 192 elements) to perform FFT along antenna element direction. Since there are overlapping elements FFT can't be taken simply by placing 192 elements one after the other. Kindly provide the details. The below document showed 86 elements. Can you number them as RX numbers.
Hi Ayush,
You can refer to the Matlab Examples for 4 chip cascade signal processing.

The below document showed 86 elements. Can you number them as RX numbers.
Please refer to MIMO Radar (Rev. A) (ti.com) - Chapter 3 to understand about the virtual antenna array.

I checked both of them before mentioning here. Still i am unable to conclude from that. And in the given matlab examples it looks like DOA is using all 192 elements, which should not be the case. Is it not possible to mark in the above image.
Hi Ayush,
Refer to mmwave_studio_03_00_00_14\mmWaveStudio\MatlabExamples\4chip_cascade_MIMO_example\main\cascade\paramGen\module_param.m.
The size of antPos variable that you are referring to is equal to the number of virtual antennas. This includes both azimuth and elevation.
