Tool/software:
I am currently in need of designing a sensor with certain penetration capability for measuring the thickness of target objects. Additionally, I am analyzing radar evaluation boards and upper-level testing software across various frequency bands. If the design proves satisfactory in the later stages, I plan to procure chip components in bulk. Could you please advise on the performance of your company's IWRL6432? Is it capable of meeting my requirements? If so, I would like to purchase this radar evaluation board in the near future.

Hi,
This essentially depends on the response of specific materials to electromagnetic waves.
Please look at some similar material related queries on the forum:

() can mmwave penetrate metal or plastic? - Sensors forum - Sensors - TI E2E support forums
() [Resolved] IWR1443BOOST: Penetration of mmWave? - Sensors forum - Sensors - TI E2E support forums
If possible you may want to try the response of the material under question w.r.t to the sensing parameters that are needed by the application.
