Dear Expert
1.What current should be set for the DRIVE_CRENT_CH0 of FDC2214 in order to achieve a sensor oscillation voltage of 1.2-1.8V? Is there a theoretical calculation model for this? What are the issues if the voltage is below 1.2V or above 1.8V?
2. The Reserved bit in the CONFIG register is set to 0 by default, but it is required to be set to 1. What is the reason for this?
3.If InoA &InoB short circurt ,could it cause these IC enter in shutdown mode ?And how to recover to normal state ?
Hello Gabriel,
1. Please see the FAQ and app note below. This is in reference to LDC devices, but the process is the same for FDC.

2. As this is an older device, I do not have the background on the requirement for setting this bit.
3. I would not expect the device to go into shutdown mode if these pins are shorted. I expect you would see the amplitude low warning and possibly watchdog timeout while the short is present. If the short is repaired, the device should go back to normal operation and the errors should not be reported any longer.
