Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR2944EVM
Tool/software:
Dear TI,
I have been a little delayed replying to your response to my previous questions, for reference your response was:
Them getting hot is normal. What device are you using? If using a 6432 5V 2.5A may be sufficient as well as far as heat dissipation goes, but should not be causing issues. Do a quick check of the DCA1000 FAQ E2E Post, you say that the board is not recognized by mmWaveStudio, but are the DevPack ports showing up in Device Manager? If so, what error do you exactly get within mmWaveStudio?
As I mentioned in my previous post, neither board is recognized by mmWaveStudio (the error message is failed to load the FPGA image). In terms of Device Manager, only one of them is recognized. For reference, we are using the boards with TI's awr2944evm.
As this seems to be a problem with the boards themselves, I would like to claim on the warranty as I mentioned in my previous post.
Kind regards,
Chris Gilliam
