LM95234--ground D- or D1?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM95234

If I am only using the internal temp sensor on the LM95234, do I need to hook anything to the D-  or D1 +  through D4 + channels ?  Should I just ground them?

  • Hi Amy,

Per the Data Sheet, float D1+ through D4+ if not used and GND for D- looks like a safe bet. I'll verify w/Apps. for this device.

  • Hi Amy,

There is a circuit that sense these pins (D1+ through D4+ and D-). If you are not using these pins, I would recommend to float these pins. Also there is a register that you can disable the remote channels.

If you are not using the RDTS, we also have device that senses its own temperature (Local Temperature). Please let me know what is your application, I would happy to assist you.
