LDC1000 temperature compesation

Hello,

Customer meet a temperature drift issue of LDC. They read out L value and it varied on different temperature. Below is inductor they use. Do we have any suggestion for temperature compensation? Thank you.

  • Hello Patrick,

If there is any physical size change in the inductor due to temperature, then the inductance can shift with temperature. If the inductor has a ferrite core, you may also see a change in permittivity with temperature. Either or both of these effects could be present.
