After power ON the LMP91050 should have a 1.15V DC voltage on the output without any values being written to the registers, right?

We have 4 LMP91050 that used to have a 1.15V output (we also saw some voltage profiles from a thermopile) but now the output will stay close to 0V all the time.

Could it be the LMP91050 are damaged? Are these really sensitive parts?

Hi Valentin,
by default PGA1 and PGA2 are disabled at the power on. In this condition, also the Common Mode Generator is switched off.
As soon as you enable one of the PGA, you should start to see the expected signal at the output of the device.

Hi Carmine,
We have a "power ON" issue as even when we set the PGA registers the output of ALL 4 LMP91050 will stay close to 0 after power ON, sometimes.
As LMP91050 has only one power supply we cannot talk about power on sequencing.

We found and fixed the issue - was related to our firmware that didn't initialize the part properly each booting time.
