Hi All,

My customer is using LM235A  but found in datasheet that varying supply voltage can introduce additional error. however, we don't find any more detailed description and data to show this impact. so do you have any tested data in hand to show us? thanks.

    Hi Eric,

    Good to hear from you again. Unforunately, we do not have any data to provide you since this device is a long-time released. The additional error that you are referring to isn't because vary on power supply. We offer two type of favors, and depending on which type of accuracy customer is looking for. They can choose either on LM235 or LM235A.

    Hi Eric,

    The voltage of the LM235 will depend on the current flow. So if you bias it with a resistor and the VDD changes so will the current. The accuracy is specified with a 1 mA forward current. If the current is different the the accuracy spec will change according to the "Operating Output Voltage Change with Current" specification. Depending on the grade of the device it can be 10mV or 14mV that converts to 1*C or 1.4*C since it has a 10mV/*C output slope.
