TMP107: For human body temperature measurement

Hello all,

Can i use TMP107 for human (skin) body temperature measurement. I have read regarding LMT70 also and its test results are also good, but as it is analog solution, i fear about ADC errors, effect of change in supply voltage on accuracy and all.

So if anyone knows about digital IC for same, then please let me know.

For skin temp measurements using a digital sensor we advise a part that will be released early 3Q '17.Stay tuned!
If can't wait we advise the LMT70 where we have a TI design with a system solution, link below:

I'm looking to use LMT70. I looked through several TI document. There is a TI doc called " TIDA-00824 Human Skin Temperature Sensing for Wearable Applications Ref Des". 2.2.1 Mounting LMT70 Temp Sensor, it describes a hollow metal cap. Do you have manufacture and part number info? Thank you.

Todd,
We don't have the information of the "Hollow Metal Cap" described in the TI design. It's a way to provide thermal isolation holding the epoxy material. Any similar part can be used, limited by your design form factor, of course.
