TMP75C: About conversion time

Hi,

Let me talk about the conversion time of TMP75C.
TMP75 data sheet describes the following contents.

However, TMP75C data sheet does not describe it.
Can I consider TMP75C and TMP75 the same spec?

My customer wants to know the conversion time for each bit of TMP75C.
Could you give me you advice?

Hi Yusuke-san,

Thank you for reaching out to us for your inquiries. As far as I recalled, all LM75x temperature result are fixed 9-bit resolution represented by 0.5°C per LSB. It doesn't have the selectable resolution. The conversion time is about 100ms typical. All LM75A, B, C are very similar specs; however, as I recalled LM75C is obseleted that is no longer available for purchase. I would suggest to use the LM75A or LM75B. Hi Yusuke-san,

I'm sorry for the long delayed response. TMP75C is a fixed 12-bit resolution, so this why there isn't any user selectable resolution.

Could you tell me the conversion time in 12bit case?
Customer wants to know the conversion time when it is not One-shot mode.

Hi Yusuke-san,

The TMP75C needs at least a typical value of 27ms to convert each temperature, and it is the same as in continuous mode. Reading temperature consecutively before each temperature conversion end. The temperature result will report a temperature from last conversion.
