The customer is using IWR1642BOOST. For the xwr16xx_mmw_demo.bin file, the customer needs to know this bin file generation step in detail.

That is how to generate this bin file?

Would you provide some suggestions?

Hi Mickey,

Bin file generation is discussed in section 6.5 of the mmWave SDK user guide. I believe that everything you need to know is there. Let me know if there's some beyond this that is needed.

Can the (.xer4f or .xe674) file be converted to the .bin file?

Yes, that is the subject of section 6.5.2. Since the IWR1642 has an extra DSP, the conversion is a bit different than for IWR1443. A combined image is created that is then flashed.
