LM57: LM57 ground clearance for ambient measurement

If I want to measure ambient more accurately, should I remove the ground or any plane under LM57 to limit the heat picking up from the board?

Hi Khoi,
Please refer to the application note listed below, It refers to a digital temperature sensors but all the PCB techniques are applicable to LM57.

Hi Khoi,

In order to pick up ambient temperature accurately and fast, yes you should remove any ground or power plane beneath the device. If it is possible, you might need to think about the isolation island. The apps note should have all the details.
