My customer is prototyping with the IWR1642, and have a few questions on communications;
Is there any manual for the CLI commands?
What is the format of the data coming back?
Is it configurable via CLI? Fixed but defined in software?

Please install mmWave SDK first.
CLI commands are described in \mmwave_sdk_xx_0x_xx_xx\docs\mmwave_sdk_user_guide.pdf
For the format of the data coming back, please open \mmwave_sdk_xx_xx_xx_xx\packages\ti\demo\xwr16xx\mmw\docs\doxygen\html\index.html and goto "output information sent to host" section.
Below is an handy PDF that describes the data coming back. It might have been obsolete but still can help you understand the format quickly.
