Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR1642
Hi,
I have silicon number written as follows but now sure which version is it.
IWR1642 QG 82ZCSN9 502AC ABL G1
Can you please anyone from TI confirm it, which version is this?

Hey Kyle,
Nomenclature is kind of confusing in the datasheet. If you visit page number 76, you will notice that nomenclature is not matching as said in the Datasheet. There is nothing mentioned about following
82ZCSN9 502AC
Do you understand what I am trying to say?
I had the same question and problem. Short version: I think that you and I both have a ES2.0 device, however, I am having difficulty proving this electronically (vs reading the IC nomenclature) because attempts to demos were unsuccessful. For more details regarding EVM version, see my posting here:

Thanks Raymond.
I would like to one more point here is that there is no IC available named IWR1642A. But I am not sure then how TI employees have been suggesting to look IWR1642A. I am still figuring it which board it is!!!
The takeaway is that an ES2.0 label applies not only to the board: it also applies to the version of the radar chip, which is also supported by TI's Akash Gondola:
If it [1642 radar chip] says 502 then it is ES1.0, and if it says 502A then it is ES2.0.
