Compiler/IWR1642BOOST: Velocity calculation TIDEP-0094, lab0012_Short Range Radar

Part Number: IWR1642BOOST

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hi,

I was hoping on using the "Short Range Radar" to calculate the velocity of a single object for a breif period of time (10-15 seconds).

The lab works without any problem and the visualizer displays the doppler in real-time and track the object I want to measure. But I would like to calculate the velocity and save these numbers for futher use.

Is this possible? If so were should I start?

Best Regards

Pontus

    Hello,

    Yes the SRR lab logs the information that you are currently seeing visualized in real time. Using MATLAB you can examine the recorded data file and extract the doppler information for the time frames of interest.
