I have been working on automotive over air distance measurement development product. I have tested the PGA460-Q1 and it provides functional performance but in this particular case the operating temperature needs to be up to +125 C the PGA460-Q1 is limited to +105C. I was looking at the TDC1000-Q1 that can operate to +125C. The TDC1000-Q1 is geared to contact liquid level/consternation measurements but can be used for shorter distance measurements with a 8mSec record length. In this application the maximum distance will be only 0.75M. The transducer needs to be a closed top type since it will be exposed to the environment. Can the TDC1000-Q1 be used with a center tap transformer as the PGA460-Q1 can to drive the higher voltages required by a closed top non-contact transducer ?
