TMP20: TMP20 for Qualcomm platform.

Hi Expect:

Customer use TI TMP20 as Temperature sensor for our tablet projects on Qualcomm SDM450 platform.

Moreover, we use Qualcomm Sensor Core (SSC, it’s a sensor hub provided by Qualcomm) for all other sensors (A/M/Gyro/P/ALS), and would like to enable TMP20 for SSC.

Could you help to check if TMP20 could support Qualcomm SSC? If so, could you help provide the driver for it?

TMP20 is an analog output temperature sensor, it seems that for Qualcomm Sensor Core, they need to have a digital interface (I2C/SPI). Can you confirm this?

What requirements are needed for temperature sensor (i.e accuracy)?

Hi Jalen,

Yes, they need I2C interface of temperature sensor. Currently, customer don't have idea about the specific accuracy. so do you have any recommendation of temperature sensor?

Without knowing the specifics of what temperature sensor requirements they need, a good generic I2C temp sensor is the TMP1075 this is the part I recommend.
