Hi,

Is Icc affected by distance between IC and a magnet?

(I know that Icc increases during sampling.)

    No, the distance between the IC and magnet should have no bearing on Icc. Have a look at the below table:

    This table shows the values of average Icc over a few common voltage test cases, as well as the peak current consumption. As you say, this peak is observed during the sampling portion of the waveform. This is averaged with the off time of the device to determine the average current consumptions seen in the table. That said, the magnetic flux being measured has no bearing on these parameters.

    Please also see figures 1 and 2 in the datasheet, as while magnetic flux has no influence on Icc, temperature does, and will change these values.
