LM87: how to handle not connected pins - VCCP2/D2-, FAN1/AIN1

how should I handle not connected pins like VCCP2/D2-, FAN1/AIN1 etc for this device?

floating/grounding?

HI Marion,

Grounding or floating these pins may cause undesired faults/interrupts. You can use the respective masks bits in the mask registers to disable the interrupts.

Should then we terminate these pins to VCC or where to?

Marion,

Terminating these pins to VCC will also cause faults/interrupts. I would see if connecting to ground and using the the respective masks bits for the interrupts that occur from those pins will work for your application.
