  • Hi,

Other than the LED not glowing, do the COM ports appear in Device Manager?

    thank you
    Cesar

  • Hello,

From your logs the AWR2243 is powering up fine and connecting to mmWave Studio. Your capture is failing because the DCA1000 is failing to connect.

Please follow the steps in the DCA1000 training video to properly connect the DCA1000.

  • Hi Adrian,

Thank you for your response. How can the customer set a static IP? Furthermore, he doesn't see the RfDataCapture App as described in slide 14 of the video presentation. How he can call that application from mmWStudio 3?

Also, kindly take a look at SW1 and SW2 on DCA1000, what switch settings should be used? Among the LEDs on DCA1000 board, SD_DETECT and 5V_LED glow in green color.

Attached are some of the screenshots provided.

  • Hello,

As mentioned in the slide you need to click on 'Set Up DCA1000' to bring up the RfDataCapture window.

The remainder of your questions can all be answered by reviewing the DCA1000 User's Guide. Please review the collateral and follow the instructions in the video. It should provide all of the details you need to capture with the DCA1000.

Also, the quick start guide is another good resource:

    Regards,

    Adrian
