IWR6843ISK: FT4232 EEPROM programing

Hi Experts,

Our customer has fabricated the exact replica of IWR6843ISK.
However, it seems that FT4232 does not work correctly.

I believe that the FT4232 EEPROM has to be programed at first.

Here is the procedure as follows:
1) FT_PROM downloaded from the FTDI.
FT_PROG EEPROM Programming Utility
https://ftdichip.com/utilities/

2) Program the image file from TI.
e2e: AWR1243: Image for the FTDI chip in AWR1xxx Devpack board

The e2e thread includes .xml image.

Could you please clarify the procedure if I am correct.

In our IWR6843ISK we don't use FT4232 chip.

We need to understand how IWR6843ISK is being used..

We have FTDI chip on the MMWAVEICBOOST board but currently that device is not used in the demo applications either in SDK based demos or RAW ADC capture.

FT4232 device is present in DCA1000 FPGA board, however typically customer doesn't have to program it, It comes pre-programmed. Hence we need to understand need of FT4232 device programming applicability.

Hi Chethan,

Thank you for your asking.
The customer would like to use the mmWave Studio without DCA1000EVM for just CW output.
We have leant that the CW was able to be controlled successfully with IWR6843ISK + mmWaveICBOOST by the mmWave Studio.

So, FT4323HL control is needed.
Could you please let us know the procedure for the Pre-programmed FTDI?
