Hello Guys,

maybe you can help me. I dont know which of these EVMs, TDC1000-C2000EVM or TDC7200EVM, I should use for my application. I have a watertank with a height of 50 mm and i like to measure the TOF at different concentrations of the medium. But I dont know which of these EVMs would be the best. I own a Dual Channel Function Generator, so i dont have to buy a new one, if i would use the 7200 EVM.

Hello Johannes,

Thank you for your interest in our products. Typically for this type of application we recommend going with the TUSS4470 since it does support various transducer frequencies but the TDC1000-C2000EVM is also capable of TOF concentration measurements. The TDC7200EVM does not contain an analog front end (AFE) so it would need to be paired with an external AFE in order to perform your TOF measurements.
