Hi,
I need some clarification about settings where we can set some parameter variations per chirp, startFreqVar, idleTimeVar and freqSlopeVar.
If we have 1TX ON, one profile defined, one chirp defined from that profile with chirp setting for dithering: for example startFreqVar = ~100MHz:
Question: If we loop that chirp 128 times, will we have different start frequency in chirps in a loop OR start frequency will be the same for all chirps in a loop?
To rephrase: do we need to provide random pattern of 128 startFreqvar parameters per every chirp we define (we would need to define 128 different chirps indices), or the random pattern itself is changing start frequency through chirps in a loop with only one chirp defined with parameter of interest.
I ask this because it is not clear to me from documentation in DFP and swra553 document.

Hello Predrag,
The chirp dither parameters are always w.r.t profile parameters. Hence, if you give startFreqVar (of say 100MHz) in case of chirp 0 and then loop it 128 times, the effective start frequency of each chirp (which is effectively just chirp 0 duplicated 128 times) would the profile start freq + 100MHz. If you want different start frequencies for each chirp, you would need to issue the respective dither frequencies for those many chirps individually.
Hope I got your question right.
