DCA1000EVM: AWR1443 problem with mmwave studio 1.0.0.0

Hello, 

I want to use the sensor configuration tool to see the result of the post-processing of the signal and here is my mmWave Studio window:

I followed the steps on the mmWave Studio Guide, but when I set the Frame I got this output:

When I used Continuous Stream Tool the same problem showed up. I'm a beginner at mmWave Studio and I don`t know what's going on. I hope you can help me with this problem and thank you so much.

  • Hello Elsie,
    Make sure you have followed the pre-requisite (Matlab runtime v8.5.1 32 bit) for mmWave Studio as mentioned in the mmwave-studio-user-guide document.
    And follow the steps provided in the same document to start and configure the device, try once default configuration and capture/postProc.

    I have already followed the pre-requisite for mmWave Studio as mentioned in the mmwave-studio-user-guide document. And actually I followed the steps on the guide to set the device. However, it still went wrong as I mentioned. I'm confused now.

    Can you remove the following directory, and restart the computer, and try again?

    Also, can you confirm that you have the 32-bit version of Matlab Runtime v8.5.1 installed and not the 64-bit version?
