Hello,

I am using PGA450Q1EVM with the TI GER Board and my problem is when I connect (via usb) the TI GER board to my PC, Windows don't recognize the board as Serial COM. But it's still working I mean when I connect all (tiger + pga450q1evm + pc) the GUI work's fine, but I can't find it in ports COM to try to send commands via uart.

I upload the firmware but don't work,

Any help it will be appreciate

Hi Carlos,

The TIGER board cannot be used as a serial COM port. You will need to use the PGA450Q1EVM's RS232 connector with a RS-232 cable or RS-232-to-USB cable to PC for a COM port implementation. For example: www.amazon.com/.../B0007T27H8

If you want to use the TIGER board in a COM port like fashion to send raw UART commands, you will need to follow the instructions in the "PGA450Q1EVM-S User's Guide and TIDA-00151 UART Demo Instructional" ( www.ti.com/.../sldu019 ).
